First Summer Outing

We officially began summer with the first outing of the season. Packed with lots of San Mig Light, fried chicken, pansit and softdrinks, we left Provident shortly before lunchtime and headed to Boso-Boso, Rizal. It was my first time to drive to this place, and it turned out to be quite a pleasant drive, what with the well-maintained road from Gate 2 of Cogeo all the way to Boso-Boso Highlands which made travel time a short 30 minutes. When we arrived, we noticed that there were very few people, being a weekday. when we arrived, we were met greeted by cousin Ricky who went earlier with the kids. Macai, who is visiting from Dubai, had invited some of her friends over, so we had to get two huts to accomodate us all, but we did have fun! We began with lunch, then we allowed ourselves a few bottle of beers before heading to the adult pool which was about 6 to 7 feet deep. The water was fairly cold, which was a good thing since the sun was at its searing best that noon. The view was breathtaking! In the distance, one could catch a glimpse of a white steepled church atop a cliff. Too bad i noticed it just as the sun was about to go down, so the pictures are a bit dark. Before leaving, we decided to try out their videoke machine. As we were driving home, we got a message from Ricky that Macai wanted to have pizza, so we drove to Blue Wave to buy pizzas at Yellow Cab, then went to our house in Provident where we had the pizzas for dinner. All in all, it was a very enjoyable outing. Hope to visit that place again soon!
