"We're sick and tired of the antics of the leaders in imperial Manila. They easily change leadership based on people power, which is actually the rule of the mob," said Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.According to an INQ 7 report, the controversial mayor was referring to Edsa 1 and Edsa 2 people power uprisings that ousted two presidents: Ferdinand Marcos and Joseph Estrada, respectively.Duterte, a very popular figure in Mindanao, Wednesday called on Christians, Muslims and lumads to join hands in establishing a separate Mindanao republic should leadership change hands in Manila.
