HEROES, YOU ARE NOT...

I pity the people who think they can be heroes or believe they are already heroes. Let us take Ong for instance. Atty. Ong believes he is the catalyst for change and that he is another Ninoy Aquino. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Why? Ninoy was not afraid to die. He knew he would be killed when he returned ot the Philippines but Ninoy did not waiver from his conviction. He returned, even joking a few hours before his death (as he talked to the media) "You have to be ready with your hand cameras because this action could become very fast .... in a matter of minutes it could be all over and i maybe i won't be able to talk to you again after this". This is heroism --- looking straight at death in the eye and not flinching. Ninoy did not ask that he be given security. Ong (and even Paguia) however, had several conditions in mind before doing their "act of heroism" as they like to see it. They want security, protection from congress, even immunity. Shit! You have the gall to bring out alleged CDs from wiretapped conversations and yet you are afaid to be charged with violation of the Anti-Wire tapping law. Ang tatapang naman ninyo! You are nothing but wannabe heroes who have no balls to stand up for what you beleive in. Cowards!
